The silica gel plate is made of high-purity thin-layer chromatography silica gel (powder) mixed with a certain amount of binder and sprayed. The plate surface is pure white, smooth, uniform and fine. The main component is SiO2·nH2O, which is chemically stable and does not react with other acids and bases except strong alkali and hydrofluoric acid.
